About eduroam

Eduroam (EDUcation ROAMing) is an international project supporting mobility of users in academic networks. It allows users to access mainly the wi-fi networks of all participating organizations. Further information about the eduroam project can be found on the top-level portal eduroam and the national eduroam portal.

Your access via your eduroam identity to the College of Polytechnics network should be fully automatic. If you happen to experience any connection problems first check if your setting matches technical and security parameters used at College of Polytechnics. Still having trouble? Network limitation at College of Polytechnics Jihlava

  • only IPv4 protocol is supported,
  • IPv4 address is allocated by means of DHCP,
  • only addresses from the range 10.82.0.0/16 are allocated,
  • ports 25, 135, 137, 138, 139, 445 are blocked,
  • the use of Peer-to-Peer networks is not allowed.
